Vicente “Fierro” Moreno, 79, of Laredo Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday July 10, 2017 surrounded by his wife and children. Vicente was born to Pedro and Julia Moreno of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. Vicente was a passionate man who enjoyed family, music, and dance. A proud US Military Veteran with a strong work ethic, he retired as a welder who worked around the country and several parts around of the globe. Vicente was extremely loving and proud of his family. He is survived by his wife Guadalupe Moreno of 47 years, his daughter Julia Moreno (Edgar Camacho), youngest son Pedro(Anel) Moreno, and daughters, his eldest son Sergio Moreno and three children. Vicente’s family extends to many loving nieces, nephews, and many other friends that he gained through his lifetime. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday July 14, from 4:00pm until 9:00 PM at the Nieto Funeral Home located at 802 Coke Street in Laredo Texas. Rosary will start promptly at 7:00pm. A special thanks to Retama South Nursing home for their loving care and support for the last few months of his life. Also, kudos to the Alzheimer Association that was formed in 1980 which advances research to end Alzheimer’s and Dementia while enchaining care for those living with the disease.
